Hello everyone! :D I knooow I've been a little MIA for the past days (ahem... more like weeks), but now I'm back and better than ever (just kidding, just my regular me, but back :P). The reason I've been absent for so long is that October 31st was my birthday and I had a little party going on, so I had to make sure that everything was ready in time. In the end, the party turned out great, I had an awesome time, but things got a little bit under control (I had one too many tequila shot, I broke a shot glass, my boyfriend picked it up and cut himself and started bleeding, an artificial plant caught fire in the bathroom and I hadn't realized it, because... well, let's say I wasn't all that sober). And after that came a series of friend's birthdays, weddings, lots, LOTS of work, a trip to the states and more work... But I'm finally here, I hope you haven't forgotten about me cause I surely haven't forgotten about you guys! :D

Hola a todos!! Yo sée que he estado un poco ausente los últimos días (ejem... más bien semanas), pero ahora ya estoy de vuelta y mejor que nunca! (ok es broma, normal pero estoy de vuelta). La razón por la cual he andado medio perdida es que el 31 de octubre fue mi cumpleaños ;) e hice una pequeña fiesta, y pues anduve con los preparativos, asegurándome que todo estuviera listo a tiempo. A fin de cuentas, la fiesta quedó súper bien, yo me la pasé genial, pero como que al final algunas cosas se salieron un poquitin de control (como me tomé unos tequilitas de más, quebré un vasito para shots y cuando mi novio lo levantó, se cortó y empezó a sangrar, luego una planta artificial en el baño se quemó y no me había dado cuenta porque... pues digamos que no andaba muy sobria). Después de todo esto, siguió una serie de cumpleaños de amigos, bodas, mucho, MUUCHO trabajo, un viaje a Estados Unidos y aún más trabajo... Pero finalmente aquí estoy de nuevo, espero que no se hayan olvidado de mi porque yo no me olvidé de ustedes! :D

Well, first things first: my costumes. You should know that I absolutely love everything that has to do with movies and pop culture. I love reading about them, talking about them, so this year my bf and me decided to dress up as Mia Wallace and Vincent Vega from Quentin Tarantino's 'Pulp Fiction'. That was for the party; as for the actual birthday we were Sheldon Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler from 'The Big Bang Theory'. I think the costumes looked pretty good! Here are some photos.

Bueno, primero lo primero: los disfraces. Han de saber que a mi me encantan las películas y todo lo que tenga que ver con la cultura pop. Me encanta leer sobre esto, hablar sobre estos temas, así que este año mi novio y yo decidimos disfrazarnos de Mia Wallace y Vincent Vega de la película de Quentin Tarantino "Pulp Fiction". Eso para la parte de la fiesta, y para el día de mi cumple éramos Sheldon Cooper y Amy Farrah Fowler en "The Big Bang Theory". Creo que los disfraces quedaron bastante bien! Now for the very exciting part of presents! ;) I wanna show you some of the gifts I received this year... Even though some of my friends or family who got me these don't actually read this blog, I wanna thank them anyway. Thank you so much to all of you who made this one of the best bdays ever! :D Now let me show you some of my cute presents...
